Gunners second bid for Partey rejected

0

According to reports, English Premier League (EPL) side Arsenal’s second formal bid for hardworking Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has been rejected by his current club Atletico Madrid.
The Gunners are reported to have presented a bid of €25 million plus out of favour midfielder Matteo Guendouzi but according to The Guardian, the Spanish club is said to be insisting on selling the midfielder for not less than his €50 million (£45.5 million) release clause.
Arsenal have made Partey their top target for the summer window as they look to bolster their squad for next season but without European football next season it is looking more and more unlikely that the FA Cup finalists will get their man.
