“I have songs with some circular musicians” – Yaw Sarpong

Renowned gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong  has revealed that he has songs with circular musicians.

Speaking in an interview with Fred Agbenyo, the gospel artist noted that he has recorded songs with some circular musicians in Ghana to entertain and draw his fans closer to God without prejudice.

He added that he has done a remix of his song “Adom Wo mu” with Samini and he is also still in the studio with Kofi Kinaata, Stonebwoy with some songs which would reach the public soon.

However, he revealed that he’s recording some songs which will feature some gospel musicians such as Kweku Gyasi and Joe Mettle.

According to Yaw Sarpong, circular musicians were ready to collaborate with him after his song with Sarkodie. He believes his talent is a from God which is why his style of music has been consistent since he entered the music industry.

Following the recent pandemic, Yaw Sarpong revealed that it has affected his music career since he sings during funerals, naming ceremonies and other occasions both in Ghana and abroad but then he understands and has faith that everything happens for a reason which is why he is not worried about not going for occasions to perform since the outbreak of the COVID-19.

However, Yaw Sarpong used to sing with some blind people who sang during occasions in order to get some economical support because he realized no one really paid attention to them so he joined them which later made them receive some more offerings from people.
