“I left Sankofa because some ladies had a poisonous teeth” – Ama Odum

Kumawood actress and scriptwriter, Ama Oduma Odum revealed on the Delay Show that she left Sankofa because some ladies had poisonous teeth.

According to the actress, some young girls were spreading false information about her which brought in some misunderstandings with her and some of her colleague actresses in the series.

This comes after it she was alleged to be having an affair with her producer, Nana Agyemang Badu, Chief of Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South District in the Ashanti Region who is a husband to her colleague, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu.

Speaking with Delay, Ama disclosed that she has helped Nana Badu in writing scripts for ‘Sankofa’ and ‘Abubrokosua’ so he loved her as his daughter which made him nickname her “Princess” and threw a birthday party for her.

To her, this was his way of appreciating her since she’s not been paid formally by him for the work she’s done for him.

Ama Oduma Odum further cleared the rumor about her being alleged as a lesbian and a weed smoker, she said to delay that she is a very nice person and was being protective over a girl she was nurturing which caused people to say she is a lesbian.

She said, “I am not a weed smoker neither have I smoked weed before but, rather I have lived in a ghetto where weed smokers are, which is why I know most of the weed types”.
