Ken Agyapong descends on Mahama’s Vice, says she can only compare herself with NAPO and not Bawumia

The Member of Parliament(MP) for Assin Central, businessman and philanthropist, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has descended heavily on Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang, the running mate of John Mahama of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), he said the Professor can only compare herself with Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh affectionately called Napo and not Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Professor Jane Opoku Agyemang, running mate of John Dramani Mahama for the 2020 general election come December, has being backlashed on many occasions by many bigwigs of the governing NPP notable amongst them includes, Majority leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Chairman Wontumi among others in the past few weeks, nonetheless the politician and philanthropist Kennedy Agyapong only made a comparison between the Vice Presidents of the former and current administration.

Speaking in an interview with Kennedy Agyapong on an Accra-based Net2TV, monitored on the appointment of Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang said Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang cannot be compared to Dr. Bawumia but should be compared with the current Education Minister.

According to him, they will bring her record. when she became Education Minister adding that “You cannot compare the woman to the Vice President because he’s the sitting Vice President who has done so well. If you look at the history of Ghana and all the old Presidents we have had, it’s only President Akufo-Addo who has given the Vice President chance to shine and you know Dr. Bawumia is intelligent so he has shined.”

“So now when you come with a woman and you think the woman will brighten your political fortunes you are lying, you cannot win. We are not comparing Jane Naana to Bawumia, we are comparing her to NAPO. So you have to look at what NAPO has done as Education Minister then you assess what she did as Education Minister then you can tell if she will be a competent Vice President to help Mahama” he further stressed.
