Koforidua Sports Stadium nearing completion

The National Sports Authority (NSA) have revealed that the multipurpose Koforidua Sports Stadium is close to completion after months of renovations.

This was revealed by the NSA’s on its official twitter handle saying “Newly built Koforidua Multipurpose Stadium (Youth Resource Centre) in Eastern Region nearing completion – awaiting laying of tartan tracks and installation of seats.”

The NSA also revealed that the authority currently have 9 other stadiums that are nearing completion as well “Remember we have other nine (9) – at Wa, Novrongo, Yendi, Nyinahin, Koforidua, Dunkwa-on-Offin, Axim, Ho and Keneshie – approaching completion.”

These centres according to the NSA will be equipped with a FIFA standard pitch, 8-lane athletic oval tracks, long jump, multipurpose courts (tennis, volley, handball, etc), spectator stands (Popular and VIP), hotels units, IT hubs, shops and restaurants.
