Kotoko confirm participation at 2020/2021 CAF Champions League

Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have confirmed their participation in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League competition.

This was revealed by Ghana Football Association (GFA) on their official website revealing that the Porcupine Warriors have sent a confirmation letter dated 7th September 2020 to the association signed by the club’s CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Kotoko represented Ghana at the 2019/2020 edition of the competition after claiming victory at the GFA Normalisation Committee Tier One competition, and have been given the chance to compete again, following the cancellation of the 2019/2020 Ghana domestic football season.

The Club is expected to go through the mandatory club licensing process as set out in the GFA and CAF Club licensing regulations.

Engagement and registration for the 2020/2021 CAF inter-club competition were opened on 1st September 2020 and will be closed on 20th October 2020.
