Messi wants Leeds boss to take over at the Camp Nou

0

Reports coming in reveal that Barcelona captain Lionel Messi wants Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa to replace current Barca boss Quique Setien at the Camp Nou.
Setien who was only appointed as manager back in January is understood to have a strained relationship with senior players, including Messi, and could now be set for an early exit following the Spanish giants relinquishing their La Liga title to rivals Real Madrid.
Bielsa, however, seems happy at Elland Road and it would be a surprise if he were to depart before their top-flight return, but the Argentine popularly known as ‘El Loco’ contract is up this summer and is yet to sign a new deal with the Whites.
Messi carries huge influence at Barcelona is likely to have a huge say on who will take over should Sieten depart and it is reported that he feels his fellow countryman would fit the club’s ideals.
