“Momo Joint” set to premiere on 31st July

Green Lemon Production is set to premiere its drama-comedy series on the 31st July 2020.

The premiere is going to take place virtually on Aukiss TV in Canada; a VOD site and their YouTube channel Green Lemon Production.

The series which was created by Joseph Clef Aboah, and scripted by Eric Agyeman is a mini web series full of drama and comedy where two mobile money vendors compete against themselves in search of customers.

However, one vendor, Kojovi poised as the educated one while Atw33, the second vendor is poised as dumb but applies her home wisdom to her school education which Kojovi tries to copy her marketing strategies.

In an interview with TalksAfrica, Joseph Clef Aboah revealed that he had the idea since 2018 but no attention was given to people without a “big name”  he decided to do it this year after realizing they have gained a name to ease some relief to people in the industry.

The whole idea was developed in 2018 for the telecos but as you know when you are not a big name they don’t pay attention. So last year I did a web series called till sunset which was premiered this year at Silverbird cinemas this year Feb. so we were planing for season two then corona popped up. So for us to stay relevant I revisited the momo joint idea and made it really comedy-drama series to help ease some tension and frustration that COVID has brought to us”, he said.

According to Joseph, the film industry needs structures after he was asked to say something to Ghanaians. “Well simple and short our film industry is not dead we need structures in place so that the young filmmakers can be assured that the hard work they put in we bear good fruit betterment of our industry and the nation as a whole thank you” he noted.
