The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) have wished Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe [20-02, 12 KOs] their best ahead of his comeback bout against American featherweight Chris Avalos [27-07, 20 KOs] early tomorrow at 1 AM GMT at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
In a press statement, the ministry stated that the 25-year-old has shown a lot of tenacity since his two defeat to Emmanuel Navarrete and called for Ghanaians to support the Royal Storm during his comeback.
“Even though Isaac Dogboe lost the last two fights against Emmanuel Navarrete, ‘the royal storm’ has shown a lot of tenacity to return to the ring for a featherweight title and has learnt all the lessons to overturn his defeat.” The statement read
“All Ghanaians are entreated to throw their support behind the young boxer and back hm with prayers to succeed for the whole nation.” It further stated
After over a year and a half out of the ring, the former WBO Super Bantamweight champion is set to pit his wits against Avalos at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
