Nana Akufo-Addo led the biggest and most violent demonstration under the 4th republic – Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Felix Kwakye Ofosu the former Deputy Information Minister and aspiring MP for Abura Asebu Kwamankese has jabbed the President Nana Akufo-Addo in a recent Facebook post.

According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu President Akufo-Addo led the Kume Preko demonstrations,the biggest and most violent demonstration under the fourth republic which led to the deaths of three people, against the introduction of VAT in 1995.

To the aspiring legislator, not only has the Nana Akufo-Addo maintained it as President, he has actually increased it.

Adding that, same way he and his party opposed ESLA but have not only maintained it,but increased the levy as well.

He further threw the question, “How would you describe President Akufo-Addo in light of the above?”
