19-year-old Ghanaian wonderkid Mohammed Kudus has completed his move to Dutch giants Ajax for a reported fee of €9.5 million with bonuses and add-ons.
The move sees Kudus become the most expensive teenager in the history of Ghana football, and will the pacy forward have the big shoes to fill replacing Chelsea-bound Hakim Ziyech.
Kudus has been nominated for the 2020 Golden Boy award after impressing at Danish Superliga FC Nordsjaelland this season scoring 12 goals in 28 appearances generating a lot of interest from clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur but the 19-year-old forward has made his choice securing a move to the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Kudus who is yet to be capped for the Black Stars has been playing for FC Nordsjaelland since January 2018, after the club picked him up from the Ghana-based Right to Dream Academy. He would make his debut for the Wild Cats shortly after his 18th birthday later that year. Kudus has so far made 57 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland scoring 14 goals.
