Okudzeto Ablakwa Gives Financial Support to All 150 Mushamat Farms Employees

Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency has promised to give financial compensation at the end of the month of (September) to all the 150 workers of Mushamat Farms in the North Tongu Constituency.

The gesture according to Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa is to address financial difficulties of the employees who were laid off in May this year due to the adverse economic impact of COVID-19.

The legislator Okudzeto Ablakwa, reiterated that, as they did for private school teachers, He has formally communicated his intention to offer financial compensation at the end this month to the workers.

Okudzeto Ablakwa saluted other 379 workers at the banana exporting plantation who continue to work tirelessly under challenging conditions to keep the company afloat in these trying corona times.

He further assured them that, as natural allies, they shall continue to seek their welfare and keep them in their thoughts always.

“Humbly, let us all remember the plight of less fortunate pandemic era workers and reach out to them when we can.” He further advised.
