Two groups of Nigerians residing at Gomoa Buduburam in the Central Region has battled each other in a fist fight resulting in the death of one person.
The second party is battling for his life at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
The two groups clashed at a local pub on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
According to reports, the two groups were fighting over a woman, and in the process, led to the stabbing of a man identified as Obinna Chuks, a Nigerian National, in front of the Gomoa Buduburam police station.
Obinna Chuks is currently receiving treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the identity of the other individual who was stabbed to death is not yet known.
The Chairman of the Nigerian community in the area, Emmanuel Azibureke said efforts to collaborate with the police to arrest the criminals involved have been unsuccessful.
