Joseph Paintsil signs for MKE Ankaragücü


Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Paintsil has moved on loan to Turkish Süper Lig side MKE Ankaragücü from Belgian giants KRC Genk.

The Turkish side confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old on their official twitter handle giving fans a taste of what to expect from the young midfielder.

MKE Ankaragücü have the option to make the Ghanian’s stay at the club permanent at the end of the loan but will have to pay an agreed fee of €2.7 million.

Paintsil has failed to impress at the Cristal Arena following his high profile move to the club from Hungarian side Ferencváros making 23 appearances for the Blauw-Wit scoring a single goal and assist. He is also a full Ghanaian international having a single cap to his name.
