Police Guns Down 2 Carjackers At Asamankese

The Accra Regional Police Command has gunned down two carjackers who snatched a Nissan Murano vehicle at gunpoint earlier this week in Accra.

 

In a statement signed and issued by the Head of Public Affairs Unit, Effia Tenge and sighted by Talks Africa Media, the two whose actual identities are yet to be established died from the gun shot wounds they sustained in dawn shootout with the police on Thursday 27 August 2020 at Asamankese.

 

The Statement adds that, one other accomplice, Erasmus Somuah was arrested in the operation and currently in  custody assisting in investigation.
