Producer, JMJ has explained recent news claims about him saying female music is dead in Ghana

Renowned Ghanaian producer, JMJ has come out to explain recent claims about him saying Ghana music female scene is dead.

In a phone call interview on Hitz fm’s Showbiz review, the producer explained that he was referring to dancehall female artists which is why he mentioned that the industry has not been vibrant since Kaakie, MzVee and the late Ebony Reigns took a break from the dancehall music industry.

According to JMJ, female dancehall is less vibrant as compared to the days of Kaakie, MzVee and the late Ebony Reigns. He added that, he has nothing against Wiyaala but only praised her for doing an exceptional job in the industry.
This comes after Wiyaala expressed her displeasure on social media and urged that no pundit should mention her in their Showbiz shows if they’ll only give her a shoutout.

However, Mr Logic, a panelists on the Showbiz review added that, there are a lot of female artists in the industry and believes the recent pandemic is a reason they are not giving back to back music and expressed displeasure in the fact that producer, JMJ did not mention the likes of AK Songstress while he mentioned the names of some female dancehall artists
