Prof. Jane Commiserates with bereaved family of the late Akwasi Banahene

Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang the running mate of the opposition NDC has commiserated with the bereaved family of the late Akwasi Banahene.

The late Akwasi Banahene was financier of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Asunafo North of the Ahafo region.

According to reports, the late Akwasi Banahene was shot dead by some unknown men which happened in his Mim residence on Friday, August 21, 2020.

The commiseration of Prof. Jane was part of her campaign tour in the Brong Ahafo Region and was escorted by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo North, Collins Dauda, former Deputy Minister of Education and MP for North Tong Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, former Health Minister Dr Alex Segbefia, former National Organiser, Yaw Boateng Gyan and other constituency executives among others.

According to Prof. Jane, the state of insecurity in the country is getting out of hand, and the perpetrators of the cruel act must be brought to justice.
