Hearts of Oak goalie, Richard Attah, has revealed that Phobia legend Sammy Adjei is his role model “Growing up I was following Sammy Adjei at Hearts. I want to win the GPL title and qualify the club to the [CAF] Champions League as he did.”

Attah has been a revelation at the Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants ever since joining the side back in December of last year, which has seen him rewarded with a 3-year extension back in August 2020.
Attah signed for the Phobians on a free from Cape Coast-based Elmina Sharks prior to the truncated 2019/2020 season with the 25-year-old making a total of 12 appearances for the Accra-based team. He was also called up to the senior national team the Black Stars back in March.
Hearts will be kicking off their Ghana Premier League (GPL) campaign with an away game against Aduana Stars in Dormaa and with the 20-time GPL champions targeting their elusive 21st crown, Attah will have to be in top form as the team looks to end their decade-old GPL trophy drought.
The upcoming 2020/2021 GPL season which is set to kick-off on 14th November 2020, is expected to run through until the weekend of 16th – 18th July 2021.
