Rwandan official body not missing – Ridge Hospital

Greater Accra Regional Hospital popularly known as the Ridge Hospital has refuted claims that the body of a Rwandan official who died at the facility has gone missing in recent media reports.

According to reports, the high-profiled Rwandan official whose name has been withheld is said to have contracted the COVID-19 disease and died of complications from the virus in Ghana.

He died on July 9th and is said to be a medical director in Rwanda.

The report added that some staff of the hospital is worried because; they could not trace the whereabouts of the body.

In a statement issued by the hospital, they strongly refuted the claims adding that the body has been identified by the family of the deceased and released for burial.
