Samuel Tetteh moves on loan to New York Red Bulls

Ghanaian international Samuel Tetteh has moved a loan move to United States (US) side New York Red Bulls from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.

This move was confirmed today on the New York Red Bulls official twitter handle which stated “New York Red Bulls add Samuel Tetteh on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. Welcome, Samuel Tetteh”


The 24-year-old who has impressed this season in the Austrian Football Bundesliga for Linzer ASK making 42 appearances scoring 7 and laying off 7 also spoke about the move saying he is excited to get started “I’m very excited to be joining this club, I can’t wait to meet up with my new teammates and hopefully we can achieve great things together”


Tetteh joined Salzburg back in 2016 from Ghana Premier League (GPL) side West African Football Academy (WAFA) and has gone on to feature for FC Liefering in Austria second division and Linzer ASK. The forward is also a Ghanaian international making 8 caps for the Black Stars scoring just once.
