Dancehall artist and songwriter, Livingstone Etse Satekla also known as Stonebwoy has revealed how he came about with his new hit song dubbed “Putuu”
The song was released over the weekend and has since become the talk of the day amongst many Ghanaians and his fans across Ghana. Some described the song as “trash” while others complimented it.
In an phone call interview with Alfred Ocansey on 3fm’s Sunrise show this morning, Stonebwoy explained that his song “Putuu” is a freestyle which many of his fans demanded he released which he did. He added that he has many songs that are in style with “Putuu” but has not released them yet.
According to Stonebwoy, the style which he did with “Putuu” is usually his primary basis of starting his music before he adds any lyrics or concept to it.
However, with “Putuu”, the dancehall artist explained that he left the song “hanging “ to come and continue later but rather he enjoyed it so much that he had to leave it like that.
Stonebwoy continued to say that, “Putuu” is a song that has shocked many fans since it was not in his usual music style. But added that those who believed he could do anything music were not shocked. “Putuu” is already number one on Apple Music
