American singer and songwriter Keri Hilson has described Ghana’s number Dancehall artistes Stonebwoy as a “true angel on earth”.
The singer made this known in a video aired on UTV’s United Showbiz last night 27th June 2020 while Stonebwoy was being interviewed.
According to Keri, Stonebwoy’s sense of professionalism is one that is worth emulating by everyone around the world. She stated that working with him was just awesome and is the biggest milestone of her music career.
“Stonebwoy is truly an angel, he is very calm, respectful and ready to learn, he is actually an angel earth, I love you very much Stonebwoy,” she said.
Stonebwoy was celebrated yesterday 27th June 2020 on UTV when he appeared on the United Showbiz with Nana Ama Macbrown.
When asked which school attended, Stonebwoy stated that he attended Tema Methodist Day senior high school and University of Professional Studies Accra(UPSA), formerly Institue of Professional Studies (IPS).
Stonebwoy noted that he had the dream of becoming a musician right from high school where he started recording demo’s on his father’s CD which contained messages of the gospel being preached.
Meanwhile, the Bhim Foundation an initiative by Stonebwoy is organizing a workshop to train people in various skills across the country the months to come.
According to Stonebwoy, the initiative is to help bridge the gap of the high unemployment rate among the youth in the country. He noted that applications have currently been opened and people can get access to detailed information on his social media pages.
Stonebwoy is multiple award-winning artists with several awards both locally and internationally. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards among others.
