“The NPP gov’t are Hypocrites and Cowards” – Ketu South MP

Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwettey has termed the ruling New Patriotic Party as cowards who do not accept defeat after any election that was held in the history of Ghana’s election.

He said that the ruling party, NPP since memorial, has been  known to be a party which disregarded Voltarians.

The NPP does not have in their DNA the capacity to accept defeat.  It is only chronic losers who blame others for their election defeat.  How can a party ever lose to aliens and foreigners”, he stated.

He said this during a press briefing organized by the NDC at Ketu-South, in the Volta Region.

On the Massive Deployment, he said that the NPP had seen to the massive deployment of the military and security forces to achieve and score its political points, adding that, the mass military deployment in Oti, Northern, and Volta regions happens to be stronghold of the opposition NDC.

We are in no doubt that the deployment has been timed to coincide with Volta registration exercise causing fear and panic”, he stressed.

He however assured the people of Volta and the Ketu-South of the party’s support of a stable and peaceful region hitherto devoid of war and any state of fear.

The Egyptians you see today, you shall soon see them no more”, he said.

He said the MCE for Ketu-South’s claim that the military deployment was to help check unapproved roads to prevent the foreigners from coming into the country was laughable, and actually represents insults to the people of the Volta Region.

According to him, the COVID-19 case count in Togo was about 600 higher than that of Ghana’s case count in Accra.

“Ghana is in a very comfortable lead and the highest in terms of case count”. he noted.
