Former Minister of state under the reign of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. Fiifi Kwartey has expressed dissatisfaction at the level of tribal bigotry meted out on Ewes in Oti region and non akans in other parts of the country in the course of the new voter registration exercise by the Electoral Commission.
In an interview on Joynews of Monday 3rd August 2020, monitored by talksafrica.com, the Deputy Minister of state alleged that, the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration is searching for a tribal agenda.
To him, as far back at Bono region of Ghana, Ewes as well as other non-akans are being prevented from registering based on tribal grounds, to that end, that is very unfortunate.
Meanwhile the General Secretary of NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia has reacted to claim that he has led busloads of people to register at Banda.
