US Presidential debate: Trump declines virtual TV event

US President Donald Trump has refused to take part in the virtual TV debate with his his Democratic rival Joe Biden.

According to Trump, the virtual debate was to protect his rival Joe Biden.

In an interview with Fox Business Channel on Thursday which touched on a number of important matters including his health, his comments concerning the debate formats drew the most attention from the masses.

“I’m not gonna waste my time on a personal debate. Sit behind a computer, ridiculous. They cut you off… I’m not doing a virtual debate.”

President Trump went further by describing the debate moderator-political editor of the cable and satellite television network C-SPAN, Steve Scully – as a “never Trumper”.
