Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has commiserated with the family of the late NPP Nasara Wing founding chairman, Alhaji Fuseini Alhassan Maiga yesterday October 6, 2020.
The Veep joined the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and a host of dignitaries for the du’a (Islamic funeral prayers) for the late founding chairman.
Alhaji Maiga, who returned to his Maker last week, according to Dr. Bawumia has left a huge void in the NPP fraternity, which will be difficult to fill.
Adding that, Alhaji was a committed patriot who exemplified the values of a true Dankwa-Busia-Dombo apostle.
“The various tributes that were read, acknowledging his remarkable contribition towards the formation of the NPP’s Zongo wing, Nasara, summed up the patriot we have lost.” He emphasized.
