The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) together with Ketu Municipal Football Association, on Thursday 20th August 2020 shared face masks and hand sanitizers to the general public at the Aflao border.
The area is noted for the spread of COVID-19 and the VRFA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah, VRFA Secretary, Micheal Promise Ahiagba, the Ketu Municipal FA Chair, Barson Foli, and others who serve as Executives of the Municipal Football Association in Ketu South were on the street to help distribute the items as the associations look to fight against the pandemic.
The face masks and sanitizers were donated by the senior national football team, the Black Stars, through the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Players of the Black Stars, on Friday, 24th July 2020, donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and assorted items worth one hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢100,000) to the GFA to be distributed to Ghanaians as their contribution to the fight against COVID-19.
