According to sources Asuogyaman Constituency has been characterized by the confusion due to the presence of thugs and registering of non-residents of the constituency.

Information gathered by Talksafrica.com’s political desk from Bryt FM in the Eastern region indicates that the Parliamentary Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party was alleged to be moving from registration center to another violently preventing people they suspect to be none residents from registering.

According to the source, the action of the candidate has caused what can be best described as, near violence in some polling stations, which a thug was allegedly reported to have pulled a gun at the Senchi RC JHS polling station.

The source further stated that on Friday morning a group of young men arrived in a pickup vehicle with registration number WR 2589-17 to register but were resisted by the residents since they are not known, according to the Assembly Member for the area Issah Larweh.
