In an interview on the Gh Page News on Facebook, the two disclosed that they had been friends since childhood and discovered their talents at church. Until one day when their then music director, Seth Boateng made them join a talent competition.

According to “The Angels”, they did their best at the competition until they were selected out of 300 kids to be part of the first 10.

They added that, they wrote their hit song “Kai. Me” and performed with it but had a hard time in promoting it until they took the ‘CD’ to TV3 where the song became extra popular.

Speaking on how their then manager, Kofi Nkonsuo treated them, the girls revealed that he did not save the money they got from shows for them but rather gave them 40 cedis or 20 cedis after shows which he took the rest for himself.
