  1. The chaff is used to set fire and also used in water purification to give it a nice taste. This is usually seen in rural communities in Ghana.

  1. We get a lot of domestic artefacts from palm trees. Some items used in our homes are made from palm trees. These are some artefacts you can produce from palm tree to make money.
    1. Brooms are usually made from the leaves of palm plants. This local product is seen in almost every house in Ghana. And the demand for these products increases day in day out. Though plastics brooms are gradually taking over the markets, people will mostly insist on getting the locally manufactured broom.

    1. Local fence and tents are made from palm branches. Also, it serves as a decoration for those in the leisure and relaxation sector.
    2. Baskets for many purposes are gotten from the palm branch.
